1. I'm a biker, I ride a Harley (& a bicycle).
2. I’m the father of a 36 year old daughter who lives in northern Idaho.
3. I’m a grandfather; my daughter has three sons.
4. I’m a USAF military vet.
5. I'm a fiction writer (horror, fantasy satire, noir, and the occasional oddity).
6. I’m a retired archaeologist.
7. I have several tattoos & I'm not done (hey, I'm a biker!).
8. I’m a little hard of hearing…just so you know.
9. Heavily into Taoism.
10. Heavily into my Blackfeet (First Nations) and Viking ancestry.

Planning to move to Sierra Vista early next year.

I love the Gulf Coast, the northern Rockies, and the desert southwest. I'm originally from northeast Ohio, but I've lived on the Gulf Coast, in northern Idaho, and in western Arizona for a number of years.


I love the night, the stars, a warm night breeze, firelight, soft summer rain, the sound of waves breaking on a beach in the night. Desert nights. Storms, especially at night. The night...so quiet, so beautiful, so mysterious and serene.

I’m big on honesty, integrity, respect. I’m not looking for perfection. I don’t believe in it. We all have our flaws and faults. I certainly do.


I’m looking for a friend, confidant, companion to spend time with…a walk on the beach, talk over coffee or lunch or dinner in a restaurant, an evening out to a movie or museum or to just sit at night and stare at the stars. If anything should develop beyond that, we’ll know.


To the point, I’m not one to push or rush into an untested relationship. Still, at my age it would be nice to find someone to share a "heart" with. I’m on the sunset side of life now, and would love nothing more than to find someone compatible in likes and loves and interests to follow that sunset.
