I wonder if anyone can say they enjoy being on this site, so why make it harder than it needs to be? There are alot of people that have been here for quite some time...why? sI would like to think its because you wont change what youre looking for just to be with 'someone'...'anyone'. I know thats one of the reasons I'm still single . I am looking for the man right for me and the one I'm right for, if he doesnt exist, thats okay too.



I have two grown kids and a Granddaughter and another on the way. I love spending time with my family, watching football, roadtrips, movies, reading, cooking, baking, taking care of my house and I have a good job that I enjoy. I exercise several times a week to stay healthy and satisfied with the way I look. I lived in So Cal until moving here 8 years ago and I love it. I'm independent and take care of myself. I am not desperate, needy or clingy but I enjoy affection and togetherness, not smothering. I enjoy making the people I care about happy and comfortable. Making them welcome in my home and cooking and baking their favorite dishes and using them as guinea pigs on some new ones too. When asked, I usually say whats on my mind so you will always know where you stand with me. I would like a relationship that enhances my life, not consumes it. I am a good listener and like easy going conversation and dont do well with high maintenance, needy or drama people. I'm down to earth, dont care to dress up and I DONT wear heels, lol. I am casual in my dress and behavior. I have tattoos, if you dont like them, I'm not for you.



You: I would like to find an honest, strong man who isnt afraid to speak his mind, who will treat me as an equal but can also take control...without being an ahole. A man who enjoys having nice things but doesnt define himself by them, a real man, not superficial. Just not impressed by what you drive or where you live, rather what kind of person you are. I prefer bigger men, but not significantly overweight or unhealthy, at this age, a bit of a belly is expected ;) A man with passion, sense of humor, not overly sensitive or easily offended and not afraid to get his hands dirty or smell like a man ;) no pretty men for me. A man who wants a woman to treat as their equal and be monogamous with. Lets face it, we're all attracted to a certain 'look' and/or 'way', to each his own, my definite dealbreakers are: long hair, earring(s), huge egos, smoking, drug use, heavy drinking or barflies and men who act or dress like theyre 25 ;) .



I'm interested in a man who can take care of himself, but would like a woman around to complement his life for the rest of his life...
