Looking for friendships and casual dating, in hopes of a LTR in the future ... don't want to rush into anything, rather take it slow and get to know you.

I am genuine, honest, and loyal. I'll tell the truth even if it hurts, it's easier that way, no mistakes or feelings of being led on. I think that our personal time is so limited that it is not worth wasting another's time playing games.

Some interests are cooking for family and friends, darts, bowling, shooting pool [I'm not that good and would love a little guidance], reading/movies [horror, action, comedies, mysteries]. Love the outdoors and animals.

I'm quitting smoking so don't hold that against me.

First meetings should be simple ... coffee shop, diner, some place where conversation is easily heard. Going out to dinner and the like puts a little pressure on both parties, especially if the chemistry isn't there. This way we could each get to see if there's a connection and if something sparks we can continue on with a date from there.

Someone who's confident [but not full of himself], caring, loving, funny [witty and sarcastic a plus], affectionate [but not needy/clingy]. It would help if he's patient, tolerant, compassionate, understanding, and able to communicate his true feelings [as long as he can do so without being insulting or condescending].

I'm not looking for a care-taker, I can do that myself. I'm also not looking to be somebody's momma [sugar or otherwise].
