I like that I can find my stuff in the medicine cabinet. I like that I only have to empty the bathroom trash once a month.

You see there are quite a few advantages to being a single lady, but I've come to realize, the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages. And I miss those advantages. I miss waking up on a Saturday morning to a kiss and a smile. Morning breath and all. I miss putting my head on your shoulder as we watch a movie, snuggled up on the couch. I miss planning and cooking a romantic meal for you. I miss getting a hug and kiss for no reason at all. I miss holding hands as we take a slow walk in the evening. I miss the smile on your lips, and the twinkle in your eyes, because I have somehow managed to give the perfect birthday present. I miss the same twinkle and smile, because I've given you the goofiest present thinking it is the best present ever. I miss having my best friend, my confidant, my lover, my reason to come home all rolled in one. Isn't it funny how sometimes we can miss something that we've never really had.
