I'm a biologist by day, pool player and mediocre guitar player by night. It would be fun to have a smart, kind, funny man to ride behind and share some 8-ball and scenery. I'm a long-time Colorado woman but was born and raised in way-southern New Jersey, close to the Delaware Bay. My 3 grandchildren (ages 2 years to 6 years) keep me sane and remind me that life is a gift. I read a lot (fiction and nonfiction), love to visit new places and meet new people, and my tastes in music run from Bonnie Raitt to Ray Charles to Guy Clark to Aretha to AC/DC to Marvin Gaye. And a thousand more. I'm physically fit, no drama-laden baggage, but I will tell you that I lost my long-time love to illness in March 2016. And life goes on. The photo is me on his 2006 Heritage Softail, parked in Poudre Canyon near the Mishawaka in summer 2015. I've lived in Colorado since 1984, in Manitou, Colorado Springs, a mountain canyon, and Fort Collins. I know how to use a chain saw and a log splitter, catch bullsnakes, and bait my own hook. I believe Lexol is the only thing to use on leather (worked for me when I used it to clean my tack when I was showing and training hunters and jumpers in my younger years). I'd like to meet you somewhere for maybe some conversation, pool-shooting, and maybe one or two drinks (no heavy drinkers, please). The "conversation" part is important. I'm a very spiritual person, but do not ascribe to a particular religion. I value integrity, honesty, a sense of humor, and connection to friends and family. I use colorful language sometimes (especially if the Philadelphia Eagles are playing), but not as a habit. I think I’m pretty low-maintenance, I think before I speak, and I’d rather have burgers at a dive bar than go out to a white-tablecloth place. I'm taking it slow and looking for a friend or friends to go riding with, but it would be a nice twist of fate if this Internet-world communication led to something more.
