Well, for myself: Obviously at 56 I have lived a good bit and as the rest of the profile shows, I have been married before and had children. That was a life. The change now is that the kids are grown up and pretty much settled. Not that I have stopped being a father, that will never happen. I lived for a number of years alone, but devoted to my kids, my business my interests. Dated along the way, some relationships didn't connect, some blossomed but went nowhere. I can't say that I am perfect and I do have feelings for others who have "histories", but bagage can ruin a relationship. If you have problems, the only person who can solve those is you, so get up and get started. I have an x-wife and x-girlfriends and I am not a hater. I get up everyday with thanks a smile and looking forward to what the day may bring. I work in a profession that has taken a beating in recent years, but I am fortunate that I like what I do. Trying to "run a good race" I am focusing on Mind, Body Soul. Meaning I am working on expanding my education, diet exercise for the body, prayer for the soul.
Who I am looking for: Based on my experiances, not that I know all the women in the world, women have a wonderful quality in emotions. A woman's feelings add so much a mans life, but not if it is a roller coaster ride. The perfect woman? Well; looks, figure, attire, that certain smile, turn of the head, glance of the eye, it all adds up to what can captivate. But along with that she needs to be mature and indepenent.
