I’m honest, thoughtful, considerate, passionate, patient and protective (Not in a jealous or possessive way, think vigilant sheepdog). I expect the same from those I associate with. I’m 5’10” and 180# so I guess I’m about average in body type. Long blond hair, blue eyes, grey beard and well earned “Character lines”. I’m drug and disease free and expect to stay that way. I ride and tinker on Harleys to blow off steam but enjoy a mellow ride with the right passenger. I’ve ridden for over 40 years so just bar hopping or road trips, it’s all good. I enjoy fishing, shooting, 60s & 70s rock & folk music as well as a little bit of country. I’m employed full time in a profession that I cannot talk about except in general terms and travel extensively, my schedule changes frequently and I can’t share it until I get to know you. My work takes me all over the world but the past few years has been mostly domestic. YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO BE PATIENT, I OFTEN DON’T HAVE COMMUNICATIONS OR TIME TO DEAL WITH A DATING SITE. I prefer small towns or rural environments over big cities. I will own my home mortgage free this year and will be debt free at that point. A goal of mine is to build a little house and a big shop on enough land to have a shooting range near fishable water. Oh... and have a good woman to watch my back and share the pleasures of life.

I’m recently widowed and feel like I’m reorganizing my life. Divorced after 13 yrs and met a wonderful woman, we spent 7 great years together prior to her sudden passing. I’d planned on retiring in 2-1/2 years but that plan died with her so it’ll be more like 5. I’m not looking to “Replace” her, every relationship has to stand on its own. I’m not looking for “My other half” I am a “whole person” and would like the same in a woman. I believe that “wanting” someone is more genuine than “needing” someone. Needing implies lack of choice, we have choice. I stand on my own, dependent on no one and admire that in a woman. Every serious relationship I’ve had started casually so that’s what I’m initially looking for.
