I Would Describe Myself As

Folks say that often beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and maybe it is, but more important to me is knowing that even in total biker and/or pirate garb, I make children smile. When I view my life in retrospect, I see an adventurer, a romantic who tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, frequently the dreamer, and for the longest time, the eternal optimist. Today, I see a wiser adventurer, still learning, awed by the exquisite beauty of the natural world, still seeking the adventure to last a lifetime. A would be renaissance man, I aspire to continue to learn. I love to dance. I am also a hard worker, who likes to do things right the first time.

I am mostly Boy Scout (I was), with just a wee bit of "bad boy" stowed away, if only to remind myself what being good is all about. My parents taught me to initially treat anyone I meet as though they were a person of integrity. And as such were to be accorded dignity and treated with respect. Bear in mind that these traits, once compromised, are difficult, sometimes impossible, to recoup. Which is why I also learned that if I tell the truth today, tomorrow I won't have to worry about what I said yesterday! This too has served me well in my journey. Telling the truth has it's own kharmic rewards! Looking forward, I want to continue to explore and examine the exquisite mysteries of the natural world while roaming the highways and byways of the good 'ole US of A, on a motorcycle whenever possible ... watching raptors soar high amongst snowcapped mountains or sun basking reptiles while riding deep into a remote desert canyon... and most important of all, I would like someone to love me and experience it with. Someone to lean on, if needed, or be the pillar for, when required. Living a low impact life, Someone to grow old graciously with, and together treasure GOD's most precious gift, LIFE. I am as courteous and well-mannered as I am capable of conversation.
I have been blessed many times in many ways, and yet that which I now seek most, remains the most elusive .... a drama free Gal who gets it when I say that we only live once. Only the sincere need apply. Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.

My Idea Of Fun Is

exploring the winding California coastline on a motorcycle with a special someone. Taking our time, pausing for pleasure wherever and whenever we find it... a constant barrage of exhilirating scenery overloading our heightened senses until the sun slowly sizzles silently into the Pacific ocean. Finally pulling off at a quaint coastal inn just as a blanket of fog begins to roll in off the water. Later, after a delightful dinner (seafood anyone?) and perhaps sharing a second bottle of wine from a local vitner, we jump into bed, snuggling and pulling the covers up tight around our necks. Facing each other, we intertwine our hands and legs, pulling each other close to ward off the evening chill. Slightly shivering we look into each others eyes, feeling each others breath, softly smiling, saying nothing and begin to slowly kiss... knowing that if only for the moment, all the world is right....
