Author and educator, work for a major massage and skin care supply company, travel 6-8 times a year for work.

Music is my passion and my stress relief. I sing, play guitar, piano, and harmonica in a band, and play a few other things I don't play in public, and write music. I've been playing in one band or another since I was a teenager. I play in restaurants, clubs, and bars, including biker bars a couple of times a month. You don't have to sit there and be unsociable...I don't mind at all if you get up and dance while I'm playing.

My husband died over a year ago. We were together 25 years. We had a very wonderful relationship that I don't regret one minute of. I know that he wouldn't want me to wither and die. I am not seeking to get married again, but I would appreciate getting to know a man with intelligence, integrity, kindness, and a sense of humor...all qualities that he possessed. He was a carpenter and a biker...I like Harleys and would be pleased to meet another biker.

I am not into camping...the days when I want to sleep on the ground are over. I do love a good bonfire and might serenade you around the fire, but I'm going inside when the fire goes out, not in a sleeping bag! However, I don't intend to interfere with YOUR hobbies so if that includes camping, I am perfectly capable of occupying myself while you're laid out in the woods with spiders and snakes! If you have a camper or a motor home, I can definitely cook over the campfire.

I can get along with most people, but I hate arrogance, bigotry, and prejudice in all forms. My politics are liberal but I am unaffiliated and vote for the person, not the party.

In my first career, I was in the restaurant business as a chef and owner for over 20 years, and I'm an excellent cook. I like to have friends and family over to dinner.

I like to take the roads less traveled. I don't care for big cities...I don't mind visiting one occasionally but I prefer the country and small town living.

I'd like to meet somebody who likes live music, bikes, and dogs. I wouldn't get into a relationship with anyone that I did not like as a person and friend first. I can PROMISE you hooking up on a first date is NOT going to happen. If you're just looking for that, keep looking.

I'm independent. I do not need a man to support me financially, nor do I intend to support one. I need male companionship, a nice ride through the mountains, someone to have dinner and conversation with, and see where that goes. Best of luck in your search!
