I Would Describe Myself As
I'm friendly and outgoing. I do my best to make people comfortable and at ease. That means a lot to me. I appreciate kindness and honesty and am always looking for it in others.
When it comes to movies and music, I'm an 80's girl. I've seen many concerts. Not as many these days. Although I was fortunate to see Roger Waters do "The Wall" a few years ago. Amazing!! Finally saw ElMonstero. Can't believe I waited this many years to finally see it. Wow. I'm across the board and listen to everything. It seems the older I get the more I gravitate towards the music I always know the words to. I still enjoy new music and I've got quite a bit downloaded for trips to the gym. But the feel good stuff seems to make any trip in the car more enjoyable. I did plenty of jamming back in the day and listened to my share of hair bands and classic rock. Sure there will always be a pre-set in every car I own for KSHE. But I also listened to new wave 80's back then. I actually have Missing Persons, Psychadelic Furs and The Fixx in my car. At the same time, I also have plenty of country. My son turned me on to Josh Turner and I'm a big fan.
Love all movies. Always enjoy shows at The Fox and Powell. I was able to see the symphony do a Led Zeppelin show and it was fantastic! I've got some favorite TV shows as well. Sons Of Anarchy, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Big Bang, American Pickers. Still miss the Sopranos!
I began riding for the first time in 2011 and loved it. The end of my former relationship meant the end of riding and I do miss it very much. I belong to an owners group although I'm no longer an owner. I’m a safe rider….not in the habit of riding and drinking. I just really enjoy the trips and of course...the freedom! You really don’t understand the term “cage” until you ride. :)
Bought a house in Festus a few years ago. Now I enjoy plenty of trees and a million stars. I grew up with a lot of nature. Jumping on the bike or in the car and just taking a drive for no reason to the middle of nowhere is wonderful for me. And I've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. It's on the "wish list". When I think of vacation, I'm usually thinking of being on the road somewhere or headed in to the mountains or across country. Don't get me wrong, the ocean is beautiful and I'd love to see it again. I haven't had an opportunity to go back. I do love Table Rock lake. I'm a big fan of the lake in the fall. Beautiful colors. But I'd love the chance to experience it in the summer to.
My son graduated from college last year and is now engaged. He just bought his first house. He's the best man I've ever known. He's incredibly good to me. I'm so very lucky. He's kind and generous and a really good person to be around. I've been saying since he was just a little guy that he's the best thing about me.
I'd really like to find someone that is established in their career whatever it may be. If you are fortunate to know where you stand in your career and where you are going, you know what I'm talking about. I'm fortunate now to work from home. It's great to be able to pick up my laptop, go anywhere and be able to manage my day. It makes it super easy to take impromptu trips for fun. Id love to find someone who doesn’t mind leaving for no apparent reason even if it’s just for a day or two.
Made some changes a few years ago. I exercise regularly. I love the new lifestyle. I can still enjoy a burger and wings! But I'm trying to be healthy as well. That said, I do love to cook and can certainly appreciate that quality in a man. I'm hoping this finds it's way to someone truly honest and kind that appreciates the same in return with plenty of laughter. I'd like to meet someone who has a plan for the future and wants to enjoy life.

An Ideal First Date Would Be
I'd like to be able to sit down somewhere simple and have a drink or even a meal as long as we can talk and get to know each other. As much as I can appreciate getting dressed up and doing something exciting once in a while, I'd prefer a nice comfortable environment where you can talk and laugh and not be afraid to ask some of the silly questions you inevitably ask on a first date.
I've Always Wanted To Try
Always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. Always wanted to be able to pack all I need for a weekend in a saddle bag and just go. Buy a map at the gas station on the way out of town and take nothing but back roads. And of course.....always wanted to go to Sturgis. But I'll be honest...although I want to actually GO TO STURGIS, it's all the sight seeing around Sturgis in the black hills etc, that sounds amazing to me.

Rummaging through some old barn or dingy old antique place looking for something cool. Walking through the Botanical Gardens in the spring or the middle of winter. Walking in the snow. Coffee on Saturday morning...outside of course. Raking leaves. Decorating for Christmas. Watching my son coach varsity football on a Friday night from the stands. Walking through a Christmas Tree farm on a cold day. Visiting the farmer's market on a Saturday. And did I mention.... Riding!!

What Do You Look For?
I'm looking for the person who has made his way through whatever life has thrown at you in the first half and appreciates the opportunity to really enjoy the second. I have a strong appreciation for laughter, kindness and the ability to enjoy wherever you are when you are with the right person. I can be happy sitting on the deck with coffee, on a bike getting lost somewhere or at the Fox seeing a great show. I look for someone versatile in their interests who can be happy at a decent restaurant, mowing the lawn, behind the grill cooking for family or fixing the bike on the side of the road. Life is too short NOT to find a little happiness in everything.
